1. What Aretify is

Aretify is an independent AI output verification and ethics auditing tool. It analyzes text for factual accuracy and ethical considerations. It is provided as an informational tool only.

2. Verification disclaimer

Aretify provides verification assessments as informational tools. Results are NOT guaranteed to be 100% accurate and should NOT be relied upon as definitive judgments of truth, falsehood, or ethical status. Aretify does not provide legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. Always consult qualified professionals for decisions in these domains. The VeritasScore and ethics assessments represent algorithmic analysis, not human expert judgment.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for your account security.
One account per person; no multi-accounting to circumvent limits.
We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

4. Subscription & billing

Current plans:

Free: $0 forever; 5 verifications/day; 2 ethical frameworks.
Pro: $9/month; 50 verifications/day; all 8 frameworks.
Team: $29/user/month; unlimited verifications.
Enterprise: custom pricing.

Billing terms:

All paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe.
Upgrades take effect immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period. Your next renewal will be at the full new plan price.
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to your current plan's features until then.
Cancellation stops future charges. You keep access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial months.
Exception: If you are within 7 days of your first Pro or Team subscription and are unsatisfied, contact us at hello@aretify.com for a full refund.
Prices may change with 30 days' email notice. Existing subscribers are locked in at their current price until they cancel or the notice period expires.
All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment information on our servers.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Aretify to:

Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our verification algorithms.
Submit content designed to overload or disrupt the service.
Use automated tools to circumvent rate limits.
Resell or redistribute Aretify's verification results commercially without a Team or Enterprise plan.
Submit content that violates any applicable law.

6. Intellectual property

Aretify's verification engine, ethics frameworks, scoring algorithms, and UI are proprietary.
You retain full ownership of any text you submit for verification.
Verification reports generated for you are yours to use and share.
The eight ethical framework definitions were developed with academic advisors and are proprietary to Aretify.

7. Limitation of liability

Aretify is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any decisions made based on Aretify's verification results. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

8. Changes to terms

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice via email.
Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
Material changes (especially pricing) will be clearly communicated.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be resolved in San Diego County, California.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your settings page.
